• WATER-HAMMER AND PRESSURE SURGE SOLUTIONS •
Pressure surges will occur in a closed piping system when liquid flow velocity is suddenly changed by sudden starting or stopping of a pump; or suddenly opening or closing a valve. These pressure changes can be severe, resulting in 'Water Hammer' caused by the excessive pressure rise which can be damaging both to pumps and pipework.
